BEFORE YOU PURCHASE EITHER OF OUR OZ ON HOLD SYSTEMS YOU MUST:

A) Make sure you have an ON HOLD PLUG already installed in your office phone Box (PAVX phone Box). This is a 3.5mm female headphone socket. More information >> "Connection Ready"...

B) If you have chimes playing on your onhold system now - you must have them turned off. This can be done by either contacting your telephone sytem installer or by consulting (or googling) the manual that came with your telephone system.

A BRIEF OVERVIEW: ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS

OZ ON HOLD is available in two variations: OZ ON HOLD PC and OZ ON HOLD Solid State.

Oz On Hold "PC" is a simple computer program which runs on a PC computer in your office during work hours. Your PC will need to have a sound card. This computer is linked up to your on hold plug in your telephone box in your building with the provided cable.

Oz On Hold "Solid State" is a small box with a sound chip of your recorded message playing continuously. This box is linked up to your telephone on hold jack in your office building, as well as plugged into a power supply, all cables provided.

WHY ARE THERE TWO SYSTEMS?

The PC system is easier to update, but does requires an office computer, with a sound card, that is on during all business hours.

The Solid State System is more adapted to the company who doesn't want to interupt their office computer in anyway. We understand that some offices don't wish to interrupt their computer system, especially if it is their main point of service (cash register), or if the company doesn't feel completely computer literate and doesn't want to disturb a fragile computer system, so this system is designed for the least amount of interference with the company. However, updates are slightly less convienent- they must be posted, and can not be emailed.
